Hey! It’s good to catch up because we have some pretty exciting news to share with you. We hope that you’ve managed to find a way to stay cool during the heatwave. We’ve managed to find one way to fight the heatwave: jumping into our Belgrade pool! We use every opportunity to cool down, whenever we have some time off.

Newcomers

Symphony welcomed two new team members last week. Adnan joined our Sarajevo office as a software engineer and Alex came over from San Francisco to complete an internship at our Sarajevo office.

There would only be one title for Adnan’s life if it was a movie and that would be ‘The Matrix’; although, growing up his favorite TV show was Mighty Mouse. The thing he likes most about his job is the people he works with. As he says, they are the one who push him to be a better person in every way.

Alex recently graduated from Stanford where he obtained his MBA. Over the past couple of years, he worked at a Google Glass startup in San Francisco and the management consulting company McKinsey in Silicon Valley. Alex enjoys beach volleyball, disc golf and exploring national parks in his free time.

Symphony on the Road

Stevan from our Belgrade office is travelling to San Francisco this week. He will work with the ODG team there, but will also use the opportunity to enjoy the summer in Silicon Valley.

Client Updates

Endless announced the general availability of its Endless OS 3.2, the latest upgrade to its flagship operating system for laptop and desktop PCs. Endless OS 3.2 offers the end user enhancements to the desktop experience, App Center and a new notification center as well as improvements to the Endless Search Bar for enhanced access to information. Built on a refreshed GNOME code base, which includes thousands of additional updates, it provides developers with a more robust means to deploy applications, including support for multifunctional IDEs, and other crucial features that put more power into the hands of the makers.
