We are moving on with our community spotlight initiative. In this episode of the Seven Questions With… we had an opportunity to sit down and chat with Mirha, a software engineer working at our Symphony Sarajevo office for more than a year. Mirha has been working on various projects since she joined our team, and her innovative approach to problem solving really helped us create great things for our clients.Â
1. Share three things about yourself. Ready, set, go!
Outgoing, looks way younger than I actually am, people person.
2. How would you describe your day job to a child?
In my daily job, I work with all kinds of gadgets, primary phones, but I am also working with some other devices. Those devices are actually very simple, they can do all kinds of interesting things, but only if we tell them how. They understand specific languages and numbers, and if we want them to show/do something, we need to tell them exactly what and how. We need to be precise and smart in our instructions in order for them to understand and to do their tasks in most efficient and fast way. The result of these actions are the applications on your phones, games, etc.
3. What is the favorite part about working for Symphony?
People and interesting projects. In Symphony I get to work with all kinds of interesting devices, such as augmented reality glasses, smart devices for motion detection, and so on. That keeps me motivated to learn and discover new things, and I get to enjoy new challenges every day. On the other, side you have Symphony people. Here people really love their job, love to help each other and they respect each other, which only means that I have awesome friends here.
4. What are your biggest professional challenges?
Learning as much as I can. Improving not only my knowledge, but also improving my way of problem solving, and at the same time trying to find and discover the most efficient solutions.
5. If you could have a drink with anyone, (fictional, alive, dead, famous, non-famous) who would it be?
Leonardo da Vinci.
6. What is your hidden talent?
I used to write stories when I was younger.
7. What is your favorite app?
Medium.
