Our ODG team went to San Francisco where they joined the Osterhout Design Group's preparations for their very successful CES 2017 promotion! Our Software Engineers Almina and Mirha shared their experiences with us.
Our team’s trip to San Francisco was a big surprise for us all: ODG needed us on the spot as soon as possible and so the arrangements had to be made quickly! Yet it was not just work, because we were also about to spend the holiday season there!
We have worked with ODG for some time now yet this was the first time any of us had had to visit them. We were all excited to meet these people in person and it definitely gave us a new insight into the people we have been working with for the last three years. Our mutual communication has always been great and this trip can only strengthen our teamwork.
It was a fulfilling experience for all of us. The ODG team welcomed us warmly and with the CES conference just around the corner there was excitement in the air. As always, we worked together as one team to prepare the best possible product and being on the spot really helped!
San Francisco is a beautiful city by itself, but with the holiday spirit in the air it was the best place to be in December! We went to see all of the great things in San Francisco: the Golden Gate Bridge, Golden Gate Park, Lombard Street, the marina area, Pier 39, China Town, Union Square and Madame Tussauds wax museum among them. We also cruised around Alcatraz. An early morning walk to Twin Peaks gave us the most beautiful view, but, above all, we had the opportunity to witness the amazing fireworks by the Bay Bridge on New Year's Eve.
